Developing a Theory of Green Information Systems

This project is sponsored by an ARC Discovery Grant (DP150100163). The project is sponsored for the time frame 2015-2017.

Project Summary

This project aims to create new and validated knowledge about designing Information Systems which will allow organizations to perform environmentally sustainable work practices. We call such systems Green Information Systems. The focus of the project is to develop a new design theory for such systems, and empirically evaluate new and existing Green Information Systems and their impact on individuals’ work behaviors and decisions.
